Laguna Niguel Fire: Ridgeway Avenue/Niguel Road

Posted on 07/18/23 Fire,News

Firefighters are battling a vegetation fire in the Laguna Niguel-Dana Point area of Orange County. The fire is burning in dense brush and authorities have closed roads on Beacon Hill and Ridgeway Avenue. Residents are advised to use alternative routes.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department and Fire Authority are actively engaged in containing the fire, with both ground and aerial support. As of 2:05 p.m., no evacuation orders are in place for the affected area, and residents are asked to stay in their homes to allow emergency units to work safely. The City of Laguna Niguel has opened a Care and Reception Shelter at Crown Valley Community Center.

The Orange County trial and personal injury attorneys of Bridgford, Gleason, and Artinian publish the following statement:

“As BGA represents 200 people and all the homes burned down in the Laguna Niguel Coastal Fire which happened nearby in 2022 (as well as 7,000 fire victims around California), our thoughts and prayers are with our many friends who live here in South Orange County and hoping no one is hurt or loses a home.”

As stated above, no evacuation orders have been put in place.
