Cory Taylor Sands has dedicated his legal career to complex civil litigation, with a specialized focus on mass torts and plaintiff advocacy.

Currently serving as a trial attorney at Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian, he advocates for the rights of wildfire survivors across multiple high-stakes cases. His practice involves navigating intricate issues of liability and pursuing recovery against major utility companies for victims of the Thomas, North Bay Complex, Camp, Woolsey, Dixie, Coastal, Maui, and Eaton Fires.

Prior to joining BGA, Mr. Sands honed his litigation skills at another prominent Los Angeles plaintiff’s firm, where he represented survivors in critical mass tort actions arising from the Dixie, McKinney, Mill, and Sylmar Creek Fires. Demonstrating his versatility in complex civil matters, he also advocated on behalf of undercover Los Angeles Police Department officers in a high-profile breach of confidentiality suits against the City of Los Angeles.

During his legal studies, Mr. Sands demonstrated a steadfast commitment to public interest law. He has volunteered with several charitable organizations dedicated to serving underprivileged communities, including Community Legal Aid SoCal, Al Otro Lado, and the People’s Parity Project. His academic and advocacy achievements were further recognized when he was selected as a 2020 Harvard Law School Fellow with a focus on systemic injustice.
